This project focuses on the design and identification of the fundamental models of an industrial polymerization reactor and a counter-current heat exchanger, with subsequent design of procedures for the calculation and parameter tuning of the controllers. The equipment models will be designed and modified for the technical parameters of real devices in a petrochemical plant. Based on the mathematical models, a tool (application) will be developed for automatic detection and adjustment of the parameters of the controllers, thus ensuring safer, more efficient and sustainable operation of the production plant. The application will be publicly available in the form of open-source code, thus creating room for its availability and further development.
