Short Bio:
Juraj Oravec received his PhD degree summa cum laude from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, where he has served as an Associate Professor of Cybernetics since 2019. His research interests include robust and computationally efficient model predictive control, real-time control on embedded platforms, as well as the development and experimental validation of control software, with a particular emphasis on energy-intensive systems. He has authored and co-authored more than twenty papers in Current Contents journals, approximately half of which have been published in the D1 category.
