REMOTE CONTROL OF THE BEAM AND BALL MODEL

Abstract

The paper is focused on remote control of a typical 2nd order system. It is to note that the remote control wasn't implemented on real system, only the plant model was considered. In spite of this the presented approach demonstrates all features of teleexperiment. There was created the Java client-server application that enables to connect the graphical user interface with the Matlab engine running on the server. In addition, two various algorithms were used and compared for the control of the plant model.
