CONSTRAINED FIRST ORDER SYSTEM CONTROLHUBA, M.; KALINOVSKÝ, M.; KAMENSKÝ, M. Abstract This article demonstrates control design of new windupless PI-controllers for the first order systems with constrained input signal. It follows the requirement of fastest possible transients without overshoot. The controller tuning is based on I1Td (single in-tegrator + dead time) model approximations. The disturbance reconstruction and com-pensation bases integral action is added to the P-controller output, which doesn’t cause the wind-up effect is the system input is constrained. The verification of the controller on the hydraulic and the thermal plant is considered. The achieved results are compared with those obtained by the classical parallel PI controller.
