TEACHING AID FOR REAL TIME PROGRAMMING LESSONS

Abstract

This paper presents simple programming library developed to aid in teaching of real time programming. The library is based on real time operating system RTMON used at our institute. It’s purpose is to provide easy to understand routines with graphical output so that students are more motivated to create their own programs. It allows creating programs ranging from simple one-thread applications for beginners to sophisticated applications with several processes and inter-process communication.
