DISTRIBUTED DC MOTOR CONTROL FOR MOBILE PLATFORM

Abstract
The aim of the current paper is a description of distributed DC motors control system which has been developed for intelligent mobile manipulation platform. Design, development and prototype creation will be presented. The developed application is focused to intelligent control of mobile platform driving system utilizing the industrial DC motor controllers interconnected by I2C serial communication bus. Software libraries for controlling of DC motors have been developed. To achieve this control, a PCM 3724 card, a MD03 driver, a HEDS 5500 and a motor are provided.
