TWO-DIMENSIONAL INTERPOLATION AND PREDICTION IN ENVIRONMENTAL DATA PROCESSINGKOLÍNOVÁ, M.; ŠINDELÁŘOVÁ, I.; MUDROVÁ, M.; PROCHÁZKA, A. Abstract The paper is devoted to application of two-dimensional interpolation and prediction techniques to environmental data representing measurements of air pollution at selected ground measurement stations within the region of the Czech Republic. The work presented includes data denoising to allow for their smooth processing, and their interpolation to obtain information on air pollution for the entire country, as well as application of suitable prediction methods to allow for more detailed examination of the data and of their cyclic nature. In the conclusion, interpolation and prediction results are discussed. Coresponding author e-mail: kolinovm[at]vscht[dot]cz Session: Modelling, Simulation, and Identification of Processes |
