ADAPTIVE CONTROL USING MULTIPLE MODELS

Abstract

The paper deals with control of a non-linear plant with several working regimes. Arx models of these modes are not known apriori. Whenever a new regime occurs and it is succesfully identified, new model is added to the set of models. These models help to improve the transient response whenever system changes from one mode to another.
