DIGITAL PHOTO AND IMAGE DATA ANALYSIS

Abstract

The article describes methods for image data analysis. It focuses both on image capturing using digitizing devices and also on its analysis. Both phases must be solved together, because it is nearly impossible to analyse a wrongly recorded picture. High attention should be also paid to characterization of the optical system of the device and the record cell parameters (2D-resolution, speed of recording, format of saved data).
