MEASUREMENT OF ELECTRIC EFFECTIVE POWER FOR ANALYZE OF MACHINABILITYSKOČÍK, P.; HRUŠKA, F. Abstract This article deals with the measurement of dynamic machinability of materials. The indirect method of electric effective power is used. Measurement requirement demands specific approach to the sensitivity and accuracy. We used solution that realizes function of multiplication of voltage and current by the help of modern analog circuits designed as a multiplier. Prototype of device has been built, tested and calibrated. Testing is based on comparing of measured values with the ones obtained from the mathematical model of the circuit. The results of measuring show the linearity of I/O characteristic. Results confirm the suitability of proposed approach and applied methods in technical realization. The result also pointed out that further research on measuring low and very low power relevant to dynamic machinability has to be done.
