DETERMINATION OF THE REGULATOR’S PID SETTINGS BASED ON THE DEFINED STABILITY MARGIN OF THE MODULE AND PHASE BY MEANS OF EXPERIMENTBOÆKOWSKA, M.; ¯UCHOWSKI, A. Abstract The well-known Ziegler-Nichols method of the regulator’s settings guarantees good quality control of processes. Its advantage is the possibility of using the results of a simple experiment without any knowledge about the transfer function of the controlled object. The suitable extension of the experiment, equally simply, allows one to choose the regulator’s PID settings ensuring the defined stability margin of the module and phase simultaneously with minimization of the transient process duration.
