AUTOMATIC DIFFERENTIATION WITH DYNO

Abstract

The paper presents a FORTRAN package for dynamic optimisation of processes - DYNO. Its usage is demonstrated on several examples. One of the main tasks in problem definition is to determine correctly partial derivatives of the process and objective function. The paper discusses implementation based on the automatic differentiation package ADIFOR.
