We are co-authors of a new article in the prestigious international scientific journal Journal of Process Control (IFAC). The paper presents a new technique for the design of optimal experiments on nonlinear systems. The paper is a partial result of the collaboration of our institute with Technische Universität Dortmund. It represents an extended version of our contribution from the previous Wortd Congress of International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC), where it was selected among the best in the domain of chemical process control.
The publisher Elsevier provides open access to new research articles for 50 days to help share the current results:
Anwesh Reddy Gottu Mukkula – Radoslav Paulen: Optimal experiment design in nonlinear parameter estimation with exact confidence regions
Members of our institute organised 21st Students' Scientific Conference "Chemistry and technologies for Life" held at our faculty. We had an international attendance from Poland and the Czech Republic. 12 participants presented their projects and the committee awarded the best.
On October, 17 and 18, Dr. Radoslav Paulen participated in a lectureship stay at University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague and at University of Pardubice. He presented the results of his scientific work on Optimal operation of membrane processes.
On Friday, September 27, Dr. Radoslav Paulen gave a popular science talk about the significance of probability for our daily life. This presentation was a part of European Researchers' Night in Bratislava. The talk was oriented towards ground- and high-school students. Dr. Paulen captivated more than 140 curious listeners.
We cordially invite you on October 1, 2019 at 9:00 to visit a modernized wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Petržalka.
