Honeywell Process Solutions' 3rd Annual student challenge: Innovative use of UniSim Design for industry applications.

We had two defences of doctoral theses today: Ing. Martin Herceg defended his work entitled Real-Time Explicit Model Predictive Control of Processes. Ing. Dalibor Puna defended his work entitled Robust Control of Chemical Reactors

Congratulations.

The presentation deals with design of a robust controller via algebraic µ‑synthesis for the two tank system, which is a well known benchmark problem.

Our IT labaratory has been modernised. Starting from summer semester in 2008/09 we will use neww thin clients Sun Ray 270 with OS Solaris 10. This is the result of succesful grant by our faculty library (Ing. Dzivák).
